Metalsmithing brings me to making a scarf?
Went to Taichung to check out a metalsmithing class that my Etsy friend told me about but they seem to only have weekend classes right now. I left my name and number and will be awaiting a call but until them I'm going it on my own.

But I did find a cool DIY store nearby with some cool stuff and bought some yarn. Thought I'd try my hand at crocheting again. My mom taught me a basic stitch when I was a teenager, so let's see how well my brain retains stuff.....should be interesting.

Inspiration - Thailand.....
Went on vacation to Thailand for Chinese New Year break where I hope to visit again sometime in the near future. I went snorkeling and saw amazing fish and coral that were absolutely spectacular and breathtaking. While combing the beaches I found some really neat stuff.
But I left it all there for someone else to enjoy.
Later I came across something I couldn't leave behind and can't wait to make something with....

Meeting in Taipei
An Etsy member took me on an outing to show me places to buy jewelry supplies in Taipei....Sweet!
I just hope I can find all of them again...haha. They were mostly located near the Taipei Main Station on Changan W. Road and Chungching N. Road. And even if you don't find these, you will find plenty in the area...Believe Me!
